| speaking of the start-deathclaw, which was pisseasy sadly..are you also coming up againsts raiders with fat men, missile launchers and other one-hit-kill weapons? its fucking annoying cuz they just dont give a shit and fire at anything that moves, even when we're inside and they take out all their own people with me.. Talk about coincidence. I just got to a part in a town I forget the name of and there's a friggin bandit on a overpass walkway with a fatman that keeps killing me every time I try to kill them, even at a crazy long distance. I have to go around the whole toiwn to get away from them to just end up at a huge facility just swarming with bandits that I can't handle right now. thats the one, theres plenty of those around the whole game..supermutants with fatman and missile launchers too..even in "very easy"..i cant be bothered with that shit so i just godmoded and offed them.  Well, it doesn't matter whether you use DVI-D or DVI-I, as long as it's dual link. I'm guessing you're getting a BenQ XL2411Z? Yep, that's the one, and I didn't know anything about the dual link thing until now, so thanks | ||

| Yup. You only really need DisplayPort if you're going with G-Sync, FreeSync, or 144hz at 1440p. Dual link DVI does 1080p144hz no problem. Awesome, I was gonna get the DisplayPort option only because it has 2 hdmi ports I won't need that I can use for my WiiU and PS4, but I'll take saving $100 over that. A lot of Google results say different thigns about DVI-D doing 144hz, so I wasn't sure. Well, it doesn't matter whether you use DVI-D or DVI-I, as long as it's dual link. I'm guessing you're getting a BenQ XL2411Z? Yep, that's the one, and I didn't know anything about the dual link thing until now, so thanks | ||

sniffythebird (11/09/2015) [-]  DVI-D means the connector ONLY carries a digital signal. On the other hand you have DVI-I which also carries an analog signal (for when you use an adapter to VGA). Both DVI-D and DVI-I can either be single link or dual link. And yes, dual link is faster, and you need it for 144hz. So to sum them up, you have: DVI-D SL = Only digital, single link DVI-D DL = Only digital, dual link DVI-I SL = Digital + analog, single link DVI-I DL = Digital + analog, dual link Then there's also DVI-A which is analog only. Easy rule to remember: -If the big group of pins has a gap in the middle, it's a single link. -The 4 pins around the horizontal line carry the analog signal, so if it has those it's a DVI-I But anyway, for you it doesn't matter if you get a cable that's DVI-D or DVI-I, just make sure it's a dual link. | You were probably playing with me because in a game I won, I shoved a fork in the kitchen outlet, but in the death screen, the father was holding it. You can still crouch in the death screen, so maybe you grabbed it after I died? On my screen I just barely grabbed the fork before you got to the outlet, but you still killed yourself with it. It could've jsut been the split second timing difference, but still a bit odd. After some gametime, it seems as though sometimes when you grab the fork it still allows the baby to electrocute himself, guess its just a glitch. okay, so the same thing happened to me, but I definitley took it way before he put it in the socket, so this is a glitch too. | ||
