The Alliance is going to have to suffer even MORE until Anduin can put on those big boy pants and lead like a proper King, like his father. Not the piece of shit, hippy dippy, 'love everybody' mentality. In war, love doesn't survive.

I think that a good King needs to be strong willed and carry a heavy stick. Varian was perfect. While he may not be as 'wait and see' as others are, he was the best leader that the Alliance has ever had.

He was brave, strong, and had a proper heart. An orc would have seen a grieving human soldier and simply slain him on the spot. Varian would have at least imprisoned or let him free. Varian isn't as ruthless as you think he is. He's passionate about the Alliance and will stop at nothing to protect his people.

That's what I think a 'good character' is. Anduin has some really big shoes to fill and I don't think he'll be a proper leader for the Alliance.

You mean that Warchief that did absolutely nothing for a whole expansion and then died in the next one?

Vol'jin didn't do shit. All he did was keep the seat warm while the writers managed to get in the fan favorite. As Warchief, Vol'jin didn't do anything. He was literally the least important person to have died there.

You can't compare Varian Wrynn to Vol'jin.

Just saying. The writers hate the Alliance.
We've never had a single time where the Alliance came out on top that the Horde didn't share in the glory.

It's no different now. We've lost one of the most important characters in the Alliance and it pisses me off that we have to settle for that pussy Anduin. He'd better prove himself. And not in the "Let's be friends" category. Or I will fucking go Horde just to kill that little shit myself.

Lol. Nothing we can do, huh?

While the Alliance stays and fights the unwinnable battle, now even more unwinnable because the Horde turned tail and ran, we lose our King and you lose a shitty War Chief that you had for a single expansion and got the fan favorite instead.

If they had stayed, perhaps lost a few soldiers in the fight, maybe Varian would have been able to escape... Just sayin'.

Sylvanas weighed her choices and chose her own people over those who fought alongside them in good faith. The Horde is typical like that. Backstabbers.

I would respect Anduin more if he blamed Sylvanas for the death of his father and keep her on a short leash. I want Anduin to grow up and see the darkness in the world. The Horde and the Alliance cannot live together in harmony, there will always be war. During that time, I don't think Anduin will have the balls to lead. Ironically, I think Tyrande Whisperwind would.

Varian said something along the lines of "Love and peace managed to kill his greatest heroes in the Alliance. Let's try war instead."

Why do you think that Anduin is going to be a good King?
So far, all he's preached is love and friendship will save the day.

What will we do when the Horde inevitably stabs us in the back while we fight the Legion? Again?

Not only did you manage to rebuild Orgrimmar, but you also made it larger and better.

Stormwind was damaged too, but it took three expansions later to finally fix the fucking crater we had that used to be the park.

Theramore cannot be rebuilt.

So, other than a sense of smug satisfaction from our long time warrior-king defeating a noobie War Chief, and he didn't even get to kill him.

That's alright, I guess, but nothing on the scale that I would appreciate. It's not even in the game.

When I think of things that the Alliance has accomplished, I generally think of something large that they have done. To my knowledge, there's nothing the Alliance has done as a whole that the Horde hasn't already.

I mean, has the Horde even lost any of their major cities? We lost Theramore. I don't think the Horde has been beaten up as badly as the Alliance has.

Now, we lost our fucking King. That guy that beat up Garrosh? He's dead. Or so we think. He'll probably become a fucking boss or something we have to kill. Half demon monstrosity or something, and that'll just be a slap in the face.

While you guys get Sylvanas, we get a whiny little punk who wanted to grant Garrosh forgiveness for all of the bad shit he had done.

Was Garrosh the War Chief at this point? I didn't play in Cata, so I don't know if he was War Chief after Wrath or in the middle of Cataclysm.
