That tells me you're in fairly regular contact. I wouldn't push her to talk to you about stuff. with you being close friends, i'm sure she'll talk when she feels like it. Giving things time is often hard to do but it's a great payoff trust me.

The thing that's worrying me is that that's the last thing she's said all day... like even though she said she wanted to be alone the second message made me think maybe she does want to talk but then you know nothing from her the rest of the day...

She's stressed with life and feeling like she owes everyone including me shit and almost broke down while working then started crying when I tried to talk to her and yelled at me she said she needed to be alone and I said I'm here if she wants to talk or anything which is what the first text is for and the second one I didn't expect. I do feel like I made it a little worse by trying to talk to her so much about it

I guess is she feels like talking about shit thats bothering her with you she will. Like you rightly said, if you was pushing her to open up, you're only becoming another problem. I wouldn't worry though, if she apologized for having a go at you, you obviously mean something to her.
