Here is my idea: We get a country to attack America on our land. Now, wait and listen to this. If a country attacked America with ground forces and stayed there, all of our troops would immediately pull back into America. Poof, the money we spend fighting a war over there is put to fighting a war here and there will be money left over to use.

Then, it is proven that at times of war faith is put back into religious people. Now, many of you hate religion BUT it instills morals in the population and moral values put into people like the rich would solve the previously stated concern.

This also takes away this little bubble that all Americans live in that they are safe on our own land. You can see an example of this at 9/11. While that was terrible, did you see anyone spitting at ground zero? Did you see how many people were praying? Did you see the friendly bonds formed between strangers who have a common loss?

We have been safe in America for a long time overall. We haven't had a war taken place IN our country since the Civil War (which wasn't a civil war, MFW). Of course things like pearl harbor, 9/11, those aren't actual war. I'm talking dog fights, battleships, marine forces. The closest threat we've had is the Cold War. This creates a problem where people don't have to care about their neighbor because they know both they and their neighbor will live.

It's the same problem the Romans had, which led to the destruction of the Roman Empire and the dark ages following it for A THOUSAND FREAKING YEARS. Think if something like that happened to the U.S., it would be a nightmare. This is why I think it is a good idea. Feel free to criticize it.

Well my thought on it is there is no point about screaming at the rich because regardless they don't care, and if we revolt against them not only will that cause a extreme job loss and possibly revolution at our hands. The tea party is an example of a revolution (attempted forced change in gov't) that is kind of blown off. These sort of revolutions could cause the complete collapse of our nation, and trust me, we do NOT want a revolution. It gives certain countries *coughchina* to swoop in and take over us while we are weak. This is why we need to not risk a revolt so we can keep our democratic ideals. The first thought is to regulate the rich, but this pulls us away from capitalism which we want to try (even though we are not really capitalist, it's a lie). So how do we fix this? Well, my answer is crazy and long and you may either think I'm brilliant or an idiot. I'm going to respond in another message.

Socialism doesn't work because people abuse the system. It all works on paper, but doesn't add up in the real world. Let's use an example as unemployment and welfare in the U.S. People with only a high school diploma or less get a job. The pay is minimum wage. Their life sucks. They lose their job and get on the benifits mentioned earlier. They make MORE than they did before and can get nice things. This is why they say, WHY WORK? Their kids pick up the trait and since they get a tax deduction every time they have a kid, they just have a bunch of kids and their kids learn to live off the government and you have a big problem. That is a big reason why it doesn't work.

this is because the entire system in america is broken. the fact that people are not making enough money in their jobs is their problem, while the billionaire they work for rakes it in, even during times like these where companies in the UK where i live have made billions of pounds, while doing a terrible job for the economy.
