I'm not saying everyone who does it is stupid, but a lot of people have lost the function to actually think for themselves so they they let others do so.
If you think the content/comment is bad thumb it down. But if you enjoyed it or are neutral to it, and only thumb it down because everyone else did, they are indeed stupid.

"she's posting a teacher-student interaction on her public Facebook page. A SERIOUS no-no in the education world"
I don't know how it is in whatever country you're from. I live in the US and I have plenty of teachers as friends on facebook(friends, family, former teachers of mine). There is no issue of posting a conversation as long as the student's identity isn't revealed. The only other issue is if there was any misconduct in said conversation. In this particularly conversation, there is absolutely nothing wrong as there are no names given.
Children aren't adults. You cannot always just show them or tell them that something is wrong. You sometimes need to lead them to understand for themselves.
There is no way for us to tell the tone in which that statement was said.
Teachers are there to teach you, and in elementary school, that involves socially as well. I wouldn't know that asking an adult how old they are is rude if my preschool teacher didn't tell me.
A father used his kid as a tool to get into her teacher's pants.
its possible that it was something he brought up in private, not expecting his daughter to repeat it in class.
At least that's what I got from the situation but I could be wrong.
holy fuck for a second I saw your username and thought it was xdeadpoolx
no, I made this username because of Spawn, who I was a big fan of about 2-3 years when I made this account. I have regretted it ever since then though because of how dumb it sounds.
<----- this is what he looks like if you have never heard of him before.
