It became a German territory after occupation in 1939. In fact, German citizens were given free land to help promote the immigration into new territories such as Poland.

1) No, Hitler did. Germans hate Hitler for that, we tried to kill him numerous times. But those were desperate times, and people believed him because he was such a good speaker. No one honestly knew a lot about what they did to Jews and stuff until after the war, the propaganda was just like "hey it's a family experience and fun!"
2) We prove we are sorry by keeping a small military, and playing nice with everyone!
3) You are a fucking moron. We nuked Japan because they were fucking bat-shit crazy. They wouldn't have surrendered if we invaded mainland until we stomped up to the damn palace gates, and we would have had huge casualties. Germany, however, we knew we could stop just by killing Hitler and the generals.
4) We were going to dipshit, but for some reason it was taking them a while to develop an experimental weapon that they'd only built twice before using resources they just started synthesizing and testing. Who would have thought they can't just pop those out of their asses!

Everyone knew what was going on in the concentration camps. German citizens lived extremely close to death caps like Auschwitz because it needed to be centrally located so the train cars bringing in the Jews in like cattle could be brought in to the local station. Everybody knew what was going on, they just chose to ignore it.

In fact, after Americans liberated several death camps nearing the end of the war, they asked the local townspeople how they couldn't have noticed the smell of burning and decaying bodies just yards from their back door. Their general response? "We didn't care"

And THAT is how 1000's of German citizens got assigned to bury the piles of dead bodies that the Nazi's left behind.

I don't know if there are any major chain barbershops, but find someone who is a barber that you know or a friend's friend. My stepdad has had the same barber since he was my age because he followed him around to the random barbershops he has worked at, and now the same guy does mine. tl;dr Don't be afraid of little shitty looking places, those owned by black people or hispanics are usually better at that type of hair, find a person who is a barber and follow them, Great Clips is not a good place to go for short hair. I don't know how you get yours so sorry.
