We are talking about emergency room visits and such, where in free healthcare areas it can take much longer than in america.

God that's bad. I don't recall having to deal with long waits; I mostly remember just calling for an appointment or just showing up and having them sketch me in between someone. The most I waited to see a 'specialist' was a week after my initial check up.
