Eh, there's a point where a guy get's turned down by the same girl 7 times and takes it as hard as humanly possible each time... I didn't think a guy could get that pathetic.

Yeah he was a bit goofy. He never even knew Arya that well and was claiming to be in madly in love with her each time he saw her. But his character development is really amazing and he eventually matures in other books

I read Eragon, it was well written, but I hated the protagonist.

I read it in 7th grade, and it's the book that got me into fantasy. Eragon could do some pretty dumb things, but I liked him alright Sapphira, of course, was the real star of the story

I personally didn't like it, it read like a mix of every popular fantasy novel thrown together by a high schooler. Which is exactly what it was

Say what you will about our right to privacy and guns, but censorship is one of the few problemsthe general public doesn't have to deal with alot... At least from the government anyway.

Read below. Belle never put up with his shit when he was raging. Only after he showed proper decency to her did Belle finally warm up to him. If Belle was suffering from Stockholm syndrome, she would have been subservient to the Beast when he was screaming at her, and she certainly wouldn't have considered leaving him to die in the forest either

So you're going to copy-paste wikipedia and use it as your argument, with no full understanding of the topic at hand? Your professors must adore you, buddy

If it gets the job done, why the fuck not? Its not like paraphrasing it is going to magically make it an original idea.
#21 - thanxforallthefish (07/02/2014) [-]
I tried to italicize the last part of the quote, but clearly that failed. It's when you mistake lack of abuse from your captor as an act of kindness. Basically exactly what happened to Belle. Oh sure, he kidnapped me and held me against my will and constantly went into violent rages, but he fed the birds with me in the snow so he must be a nice guy" Stockholm's Syndrome. And yeah, I get it, it's a Disney movie and so of course he ends up actually being a good guy at the end.
