Only when one tears a hole in the ground can new seeds be planted. Life is about change, you may not like what the winds bring but only a foolish sailor prays for a calm day. The struggle is part of what makes us strong, gives us endurance, we must use even the harshest storms to push ourselves forward. Everyone has their battles, and everyone hides their scars. Scars are created when you survive, not when everything is over. They are just proof that you are stronger than what you face, that wounds can heal. A mark may be left, but is a gravestone not for the living? The dead have no need for stone or scars, they are they to remind the living that that there are wounds worth healing. I for one would be saddened if my death did not leave a scar. It means that I was worth enough for someone to tear someone apart when I leave them, but that I made them strong enough to put themselves back together without me.
