There's plenty of extremists out there with different beliefs at heart.

Just because a group of muslims in Afghanistan kills and persecute christians, doesn't mean all muslims are bad either! You don't chop down a whole tree because of one rotten apple!

Just saying that I don't like this stereotype that all Buddhists are peace loving vegetarians. It's not true. There are probably plenty of asshole Buddhists. I believe the only reason why they're not notorious for violence is because there's simply not enough of them. Almost all major religions advocate peace. If Buddhism was a more-practiced religion and had more political power, there would definitely be more violence propagated by it's adherents (as seen in Burma, where Buddhism is a major religion).
