If you maintain the same eating habits but move more you are bound to live atleast a somewhat healthier life. No one is arguing about the importance of a diet, but one can't deny the benefits of a game that promotes walking in a world where the younger generations are getting used to sitting at home all day.

It's not like people actually believe you are going to be buff, it's just a joke. The other dudes comment was simply redundant and pretty laughable that the dude pulls out a link to something most of us here already know (oh wow reducing calorie intake helps lose weight faster? Who wouldve known!) Its actually pretty condescending to think everyone is stupid but him.

Any doctor would recommend going for a walk every day if you can't exercise.

The study implies you have to change your diet/caloric intake to get a caloric deficit, which is not the case

The simple fact of the matter is 99% people change their caloric intake everyday, fat people are fat because they eat above maintainable and burning an extra 200 calories a day isn't gonna make that extra 1000 they ate go away
