True. But to a degree that's because writers are fucking terrified to write certain characters, because of the same tumblrinnas. For example, when was the last time we had a female character who was an idiot or a coward or an arrogant ass? Cause I can't think of one. Why? Because if you've got a female character, they have to be a fucking demi-god, who's good at everything, otherwise tumblr whines about how it's mocking women. In the same way, any non-white character who's not a walking stereotype is considered bad, because they're not "representing their culture".
