Personally, I didn't enjoy oblivion as much as I did the other two. Not to bash, but I found it tied you much less to the story then the other two did.

You're right about that. IMO, Morrowind had the best story of the 3 most recent Elderscrolls. Can't say much about the first two as I have never played or read about them.

out of curiosity was there someone else up there with him or how did we get the pictures we have i haven't seen all or the originals?

the picture of him on this post i dont believe is true. shopped and if it is true then i have no idea how they got something up there. the only thing i saw up there was a helicopter when he pulled his chute. now, there is a video of him recorded rom his cam and i haven't found a source that actually shows him breaking mach 1.24. not saying it didn't happen because the ground cam recorded him doing so. but i wanna see the first person view of him breaking it.

that is a vapor trail. its the result of the sonic boom compressing the air. a sonic boom isn't a tangible thing, the only thing you can see is its effect on the environment.

I also want to point out that technically sonic booms aren't visible. It's a sound. The vapor CONE is just what happens (I read it over and over again on wikipedia and can never remember all that shit) and a vapor CONE that you see in conjunction with a sonic boom is different than a vapor TRAIL.

I also believe there is NO ONE HERE that believes that pic was not shopped.

Only in air, when he broke it he wasn't. In air he could not go faster then terminal velocity, and nowhere near the sound-barrier because of the drag.
Sonic booms are only visible where the air around it can be compressed.
