This can only end in disaster...
Believe me when I say I have a lot of experience with moderation, in fact I was told I was one of the best. Moderating a private WoW server filled with bugs and people complaining, having to take time for every person who had an issue, over 600 people on average on that server, and I sometimes had to hold 20 I.M chats simultaneously.
Pretty much my job was this. Find bugs, handle people, temporary fixes for bugs, fix raids and group activities, solve disputes, test skills using a ton of math.
But, there is one thing that most people didn't know I had responsibility for, and that is to keep an eye on all other moderators for what they do, inside the game, edits, ect..
Pretty much, I can understand somebody with me getting moderation powers, because I know full well that they can be abused extremely, extremely easily.
But with you, I'm sure that you won't know what the hell to do with anything like that, and I've seen wholesome people just use things like this horribly. And when they used them like that, they were banned from the server with no chance of coming back.
All our mods were handpicked by the seniorawesomesauce of the server, and were approved by at least 70% of the small staff.
Tasty, don't let this go to your head, because this can turn out horribly.
If you don't think you can, just relinquish power back to the developer, or just drop using it at all. Because this could be pretty bad for you, along with everyone else.
Just my two cents.
