You won't break laws of physics doing it this way and there is no harm to it. The problem at the top should not need brackets and frankly it can do without them. You'll still get an answer from it. Throwing in brackets into every math problem complicates things to an unneeded level and it shouldn't be needed to do that. If the order was changed the answer would be different but it would always be the same if you went from left to right. With brackets this is not the case.  #317 -
