Well, to start it off, I'm in love with my best friend that I've known since we were both 6.

So she's like the first girl you've ever loved then, and what I gather from a few comments down is that she is dating someone else. Correct?

She's not the first girl I've ever loved, but it grew to the point where she's the love of my life. And yeah she's dating someone else and sees me as a brother figure.

It's happened to a lot of us. The girl we're in love with goes out with someone else, and claims to see the guy as a brother. Might I ask how you plan to fix this?

I'm not entirely sure. I've described what I've done to another few friends and they've told me that I've done everything masterfully and is aghast at why we aren't together. Like her parent's both like me and like having me around, trusting each other with very intimate secrets that no one else knows and so many other things I can list off.

And even just recently, I visited her last month and I may have impressed her by walking from my place to her's which is an hour walk and I did it though the hot summer sun while carrying a heavy bag.

So I'm just kinda stumped at what to do.

How often do you see her?

Not as often as I'd like She goes to another city and college. I don't have a licence or car. :/

Well if you really don't see her often, then my normal advice won't work. Have you ever considered getting a different girl to be your girlfriend? You might end up making the girl you like jealous. If that happens you might have a chance with her. Also, what is her boyfriend like?

I've had other girlfriends(single now) and tbh, I'm not sure if they made her jealous, but she got together with her now-ex a little after I got my gf (who was one of her high school friends) and she dumped him a little after me and my now-ex broke up, but she immediately got together with her current boyfriend. I don't have a gf at the moment, but i have a friend with benefits, so that's the next best thing.

I don't see her as often as i like'd to have in the past 2 or 3 years, but i still keep in touch with her regulalrly through FB and texting. Oh and what's your regular advice? I'm a bit curious.

My regular advice is for guys who see the girl they like frequently. It typically works that the guy starts blowing off the girl a bit. Showing that she is not his top priority. This doesn't always work though, seeing as situations differ from person to person.

Ah yeah that advice usually works, and I already kinda don't make her my top priority, but with our rare visits blowing her off wouldn't work and just make her pissed at me.

But I've shown her that while growing up together over the years that I'm loyal to her. I even did stupid **** so that people would make fun of me instead of her, because she was always the shy, bookworm in elementary school.

The only thing I can think of doing is get in good with her current friends and roommates when I visit her at her place in the city, and scope out her bf and see what I'm competing with. And the next time she's single I'd make a move on her, and show her why my friend with benifits keeps coming back for more. ;)

Maybe set up a double day with her and her current boyfriend as well. This will give you the chance to get to know him without someone being the third wheel.

A couple of my friends that know how I feel about her tell me that it'll happen and me and her will get together. I mean, she's the only one for me and completes me.

It would ask you to make an account with the system and then ask you for your PSN ID, XBL Gamertag, Nintendo Network ID, Steam account, Origin account (ew), and let you comunicate with your friends across all platforms.
