READ A BOOK, READ A ************* BOOK!
Good writers are also good readers. This need not be the classics (though that is definitely recommended), just pick some stuff you like, and take cues.
Hell, there's lots of advice out there on the web.
Double Hell, if you feel brave, try the 4chan board /lit/. They might help. I wouldn't submit writing to them, but just ask them how to be a good writer and they may humor you.
If you ever need an editor, something that is absolutely necessary, I'll be happy to provide. Just PM me with links to your stuff and I'll read it (when I have free time).
