I'm also saying they more than likely wouldn't be elected for their "morals." Hiring prostitutes, drinking, racism, they wouldn't make it. People would be disgusted, especially since plenty of them were deists. They could stand a chance politically, but not with their pasts.
User avatar #91 - syrenthra (05/10/2013) [-]
which takes me back to my point, they were made that way by their society, not completely by their choice

I'm not saying if they were raised in our society, I'm saying if they came from the past and ran for president, they'd lose.

User avatar #82 - syrenthra (05/10/2013) [-]
worded my last comment incorrectly, basically what I am saying is that it doesn't matter who the people are, it depends on the customs and what is normal during that time. They were taught to act like that by their society, if they were alive today, they would have been shaped by our society and we wouldn't be having this discussion

I don't even use an anti-virus. It just kept bugging me about stuff that i just installed. I trust Steam not to put virusses into my TF2 updates.

Fair enough, I got it under control for now, that was fun the other day doing the Warhammer 40k picture dump
#10 to #9 - thacoletrain (10/03/2012) [-]
Indeed

I had a 40k game that i don't seem to find on any other site
Mark of Chaos just made me a tad angry, because having to defend a fortress is annoying as shit if you only have 6 squads (1 cavalry and my hero, 2 ranged and the rest just melee)

Alas, i can't play Dawn of War 2 for the moment because the W and C on my keyboard are not working properly
User avatar #11 to #10 - syrenthra (10/03/2012) [-]
Ah, I've only recently gotten into War 40k stuff, got the Ultramarine Omnisbus and I'm nearly 2/3s through it. I have Dawn of War II and I can beat it very soon, I have the final mission unlocked but I want some more term armor first, then I have Chaos rising.
User avatar #12 to #11 - thacoletrain (10/03/2012) [-]
I'm around the part that i get the guy revived from the poison and he's quite good, but doesn't heal unfortunatly.

I've got the possibility for Terminator armours on the assaulst squad, but i haven't found many yet.
I love the lore around it, reading it is sometimes quite interesting and quite a timekiller
User avatar #13 to #12 - syrenthra (10/03/2012) [-]
Ah yeah, put the rites of repair on one of your squads to heal Thule
Terminator armor comes in at the end nearly the last few missions

Its too much to defend from too fast, You can't build a base and defend fast enuff. You either survive moneyless, or die with a lil money. Either way, dead ;-;
