| I got a shoulder tat that took about an hour to do, because I'm pretty skinny when it got closer to the collarbone it hurt a lot but the rest of the time I was able to sit silently through the pain. It's just kind of a numb pain that you can ignore by clenching your teeth or hands while it's going on. That was my first tat and I think it went pretty well Well the part that hurt for me was on the elbow. It felt like it was punching my elbow and a vaccination at the same time if that makes any sense Ouch. I plan to get one on my back so I hope it will be not as painful. swiftshadow (12/05/2015) [-] Almost did it today at work. I spilled coffee creamer everywhere and was tipping the coffee machine upwards when I nearly placed my hand on the warmer up top. I work in a kitchen so its also common to grab hot things out of the microwave with bare hands, get grease splashes on you or cut yourself. Feeling pain is what makes them minor instead of severe. I can feel the knife break skin and I jump back before I cut a finger off. I feel the grease splash me and I wipe it away before it cooks my arm. Pain is a survival mechanism. | ||

anon (12/05/2015) [-] Oh let me take a shower. Oh, wtf, my skin is melting. Guess I set the water temperature too hot. No but seriously that happens feeling pain is super important to your health and survival. There's a reason for pain, it's your brain alerting you that some shit is happening that needs to stop Well, I mean, for one - Not being able to feel pain means you can't tell when you have to use the bathroom, so you basically either need to figure out how to remind yourself every now and then, or wear diapers for the rest of your life. Pain is a bit of a different sensation than the urge to pee/shit, though. Tattoos and piercings arent that bad in terms of pain. Some tattoos can suck but it's nothing to worry about My nose piercing was really shitty, like it takes way too much time to pierce the skin. People tried to scare me from getting an industrial but it hurt less than a nose one. That also kind of depends on how well it's done Like with my tattoo I had a 3 hour session and it only hurt for the last 20 minutes Besides the last 20 minutes, how does it feel? anon (12/05/2015) [-] gets gash from couch staple, bleeding perfusly for a half hour before looking down. oops lol. Grabs metal thing in car on 100 degree day, blisters all over your hand after holding it for a while. Appendicitus that affects 1 in 15 picks you. What it didnt hurt; ruptures and kills yuo. Oh ya so great. Its not fun. I can't feel pain as badly as some people but i can still feel it I once broke my ass falling off of a 6ft fence and it only felt like a normal fall to me so i got back up and didn't think muck of it, 6 months later i went to the doctors for a check up and they found out i broke my ass in two places, if i didn't get that check up my ass bone would've been messed up forever so i wish i could feel pain. It was my tailbone but ass bone is more fun Also i once sprained my foot and i didn't feel it but i couldn't walk on it for a few days And another time my finger tip got cut in half to the bone but i didn't feel it that much. So what i'm saying is, i'd love to feel pain like you guys do. Even with feeling pain, how often do you place your hand on an oven plate? The problem here is that you're saying "you should know better" to someone who does something on ACCIDENT without thinking about it. Fucking retard. I can feel the knife break skin and I jump back before I cut a finger off. I feel the grease splash me and I wipe it away before it cooks my arm. Pain is a survival mechanism. there are very real side effects of not feeling pain. one of the more prominent ones is that the person may accidentally chew their own tongue off without noticing. other than that, the body is meant to feel pain. pain indicated that something is wrong. if you can't feel pain then you won't know if there is something wrong Pain is is absolutely necessary and good for both evolutionary reasons and survival reasons. Imagine if you were standing on a hot coal and didn't know it. Burn yourself right to the bone. Not only that but this condition usually means you don't make ti to 30 since you can overheat easily Dr. Gregory House: Better than being in pain all the time. Get in the chair. Hannah Morganthal: Every morning, I have to check my eyes to make sure I didn't scratch a cornea in my sleep. Dr. Gregory House: Oh, God, stop. I'm in a pool of tears here. Hannah Morganthal: I can't cry. Dr. Gregory House: Neither can I. Every morning, I check my eyes for jaundice in case the Vicodin's finally shot my liver. Hannah Morganthal: I can't run anywhere without examining all my toes for swelling. Dr. Gregory House: I can't run. Hannah Morganthal: Boys can't hold me for too long because I can overheat. Dr. Gregory House: Girls can't hold me for too long because I only pay for an hour. Hannah Morganthal: I need an alarm on my watch to remind me to go to the bathroom. Know how many humiliating experiences before I thought of that? Dr. Gregory House: Bathroom is fifty feet from my office. Every drink of water, I weigh the pros and cons. Hannah Morganthal: After everything I do, I self-check. Mouth, tongue, gums for cuts, count teeth, check temperature, fingers, toes and joints for swelling, skin for bruises. | ||

| It's getting more difficult for normal sized men to find good pants, seriously, everyone is going to this relaxed fit BS where the waist sizes are a few inches larger than they should be according to what's on the tag, for example I need 32" waist pants, and the size 29s (which is as small as the men's section seems to go in most stores) are actually size 34s, or maybe larger. I do enough physical activity for my thighs to be larger than what most pants are cut for as well, so going to the boys section to get pants doesn't work out either. The amount of slack in pants that fit people with thick legs make belts impractical because the slack has a tendency to bunch up, and the pants that have close to the correct waist size are basically skinny jeans that are uncomfortable, and reduce mobility (especially if I have things in my pockets, which I need to carry around). I found one model that's an exception, thank god, but those are now basically my personal uniform because they are the only pants I can find that fit. The clothing for normal sized practical people in general seems to be harder to find, shit, my sister has to go to the boys section to find pants because women's fashion doesn't support normal sized people that don't have some sort of eating disorder, or large enough pockets to put things in. It's fucking ridiculous. At least T-shirts still fit, although they could use being a couple inches longer as larger sizes do not seem to get any longer for some reason, but finding plain cotton T shirts seems to be getting more difficult as well. I don't want spandex in my shirts, I don't want logos on them, especially ones made in that plastic paint material that prevents sweat from evaporating and will melt if heated. There needs to be a clothing company that exclusively focuses on manufacturing clothing that's comfortable, durable, high mobility, and Completely honest sizes and cuts so it's not so hard for people to find normal clothes that actually fit properly. Ye, hate the part too where companies think every piece of clothin needs some fancy shit. Took around 8 stores until I found a plain black zip-up hoodie. They probably use spandex and acryl and nylon and shit because it's cheaper but god it's horrible. Except for bamboo fabric. That's the greatest thing since sliced bread. We should give up finding clothes and walk around in potato bags. BTW an interesting thing I found is that companies that make goth/rock/punk stuff like Spiral Direct or Punk Rave generally make clothes for taller people. And with a little more realistic concept of the people who would wear them. The shirts are longer and the sleeves are pleasantly fitting length (long limbs=impossible to find proper long-sleved clothing). #80 -
dontknowme (12/05/2015) [-] Actually it's getting harder for thin and healthy sized people to find clothes that don't cost a fortune due to vanity sizing. Most smalls or mediums have considerable belly room, and let me just say, I don't have any belly to fill it. I haven't bought new clothes in a while because the only shirts I get that fit are from my jiu jitsu tournaments. Also jeans. They are either fit for twigs or landwhales. I'm 178 cm so pretty taller than the average girls, if I go to a generic store like H&M or Zara I put on a pair that fits me in length and I can't even move in it if i actually fit into it. The other end is when in a "normal proportioned" store, the one that is right in lenth is about twice the tickness it should and the ones that fits stops 10 cm above my ankles. I stopped giving a fuck about the judging of chinese shops, those guys know their shit when it comes to clothes, like really stretchy not-leggings-looking pants and sizes where tall isn't equal to fat. #85 -

| I saw a picture just a few days ago that literally explains it. Like, for a guy to get off, there was an old 'Bop It' toy, for a girl, it was a Rubik's Cube. Then it said "Bop it" for guys and a mouse for girls, where the mouse wheel was basically "Right there, just right there, seriously". Penetration is fine, but if a guy (or girl~) knows how to stimulate the clitoris properly... Yeah. Results. Yeah (as a guy) I never understood why other guys find it so hard. I think it's that since thrusting feels good for them, they expect it to work the same for girls. Also yeah like you said... They just copy what they see in porn | ||

I think they're solo-able now. If not, wait a few levels.
That's **** , also what does it mean when an item binds to you, does it mean you need to pay to get it off or something?
It means you can't trade it or sell it on AH, only to a vendor.
