Except taxes dont all go to the poor. The government funds other shit than just welfare. such as public education, public transit, maintaining roads, they have employees that they hire and need money as well, etc. Clearly not same concepts.

in Mario Party terms, the gov't is bowser "so I see you have 102 coins, lemme just take 80 of them to fund... koopa advanced military tactics" or if you land on his space and he decides to take 30 coins from EVERYONE, but you're the only one with more than 30, he still takes all 30 from you, even if he only took max 12 from the other 3 guys.

Well its not like the initial comment where the loser gets all 100% of it. I mean I would complain if my shit all went to someone else when I did the work. But it's Mario Party anyway, game is all based on luck practically. The government doesn't just take from the rich, they take from the poor and actually on a % basis, taxes take more of the poor's money (percentage wise) than the rich due to taxes on sales good. It used to be bowser said fuck you and took all your coins anyway. I haven't been playing the lastest ones, classic n64 mario party was my fav.

5. Yes mario party is based on luck, but most minigames/some aspects of it can be won/arranged by skill, with some pre-determined consequences for having more coins and such.
6. my friend actually won a MP game where he had the fewest coins and kept winning the battle minigames to take other people's coins, we stopped playing with him afterwards.

That's why they gained popularity. They provide good audio in headphones.
