Yea I know but compared to the career I should have when done with school and the money I should be making (structural engineer, probably starting at 65k maxing out at 90k), all legally, that extra 30 or 50k doesn't sound worth all the jailtime if you get caught or the stress if you dont

It doesn't; selling an addictive substance assures that you have returning customers. So, buy selling cocaine, you ensure your customer's fate. It IS the dealer's fault that the client does drugs because the dealer continues to sell an addictive substance; to the clients, they have to take the drug: it's like getting a mortgage: you have to pay the bank. Just because the client would get it from someone else, it doesn't make it any less bad. That's like saying: better murder someone because they'll die anyways or better give that kid meth because he'll just get it from the other guy.
User avatar
#84 - kurusudarling (05/14/2016) [-]
it was still the clients choice to do the drug in the first place, its not like the client didnt know drugs were bad and accidently did some. also once they are hooked only they can break the cycle, so his reasoning still stand that even if he didnt sell to them theyd just get it eleswhere.

#82 - neokun (05/14/2016) [-]
We all get what you're saying. But...

"It IS the dealer's fault that the client does drugs"

If this dude in particular stopped dealing drugs... Are you saying his customers will stop doing drugs?
#129 - anon (05/15/2016) [-]
You're making a strawman argument. Nobody's claiming that it's the drug dealer's fault the clients do drugs. The dealer is still a shitty person.
User avatar
#175 - neokun (05/15/2016) [-]
I'm not making a strawman argument, look back at when anon said, because he said quite literally what you're saying he didn't.

"Nobody's claiming that it's the drug dealer's fault" (your comment)

"it IS the dealer's fault" (the anon I was talking about's comment)

#104 - hamshef (05/14/2016) [-]
If theoretically all dealers stopped dealing drugs, users would not be able to use drugs. "B-but there's always gonna be people selling drugs" of course, and there's also always going to be people who don't vote, does that mean we should give up and contribute more to the problem?
User avatar
#106 - neokun (05/14/2016) [-]
I'd prefer if the kid wasn't doing dealings of course. But all I'm saying that if he did stop dealing literally nothing would change. Except he'd be getting no fat stacks.
#108 - hamshef (05/15/2016) [-]
Well, it would shorten the flow of drugs in that area for a short time, sure it will pick up again but that one hindrance could potentially save a life. it's the little things in life that can make a difference. There is so much corruption in the world, and I know it will never end, but by fighting against it, even through small acts, it helps brighten the future, just by a little bit. There can be no good in this world if nobody is willing to hold on to even a little bit of hope, but just that little bit, that small voice, can grow if nurtured, and others will notice, and will rally by it when they feel enough courage, it just needs somebody to hang on to that little bit of hope, through the small acts in life. Sorry for the wall of text, I just get really fired up about moral issues, if you've read this far, have a random pic of my dogo, sorry it's upside down , my phone does that for some reason

It's more of a choice. I did drugs both legal and illegal. I quit everything and I sometimes still crave them, but I remember how they feel after the feeling and I rather not feel that. Plus all my surroundings are affected by it job, academic, family, etc..

You've shown your ignorance man.

Girl's bathrooms are way more disgusting than men's rooms.
User avatar
#27 - vozel (05/14/2016) [-]
I think it has less to do with gender and more with age.

When I was in grade school, god damn, the bathrooms were always something to write home about. No one ever goes there unless you're truly desparate. Perhaps the worst it has been was when I walked into to see shit on the urinal (wtf), piss overflowing the sink, and wet shit covered in toilet paper stuck to the ceiling, with piss dripping from it. God damn, the boys at my school were fucking retarded.

But by high school, the bathrooms are actually mostly clean, other than the occasional shit-clogged toilet.
#39 - zaphodcoolfrood (05/16/2016) [-]
Yeah by high-school it reverses. Girls go from the clean ones to wrecking that shit.
