Not the same anon, but weed (along with other drugs) affect the way receptors in our brain behave, having little to do with chemical release - though that isn't to say it's not a factor - so your body can't replicate the effects without being exposed to the actual drug.

Good shout, or even drag radials.
It's probably possible under super specific circumstances, but I doubt it's realistically replicatable!

Probably not on something that would be able to be daily driven.
The fastest GT-R ever which does 0-60 in 1.53 seconds has a low 7 second quarter mile. So a 2.0 second 0-60 GT-R would still probably have an 8 second quarter mile, and I don't know a lot of 8 second cars that are daily driven

Changing the tune could go as far as to encompass changing boost and pressure levels, this could, in theory add 50bhp/turbo (reliably) race fuel would help too.

Theoretically, bhp doesnt matter TOO much in a 0-60 time, it's about traction, and torque.

Hence the 918 having such a fast launch, those electric motors lay out an enormous amount of torque, (and pick up the slack between gears) and although there's only a small amount of power to the front wheels, it helps get all the tyres planted, faster.

I'm sceptical too, though. BUT the GTR is a very complex vehicle. I wouldn't be all too surprised if it were possible.

On racing slicks it might be possible. I'm not sure though. 2 seconds is ridiculously quick.

You're right - The Nismo GTR is, according to Nismo, capable of a 2.0 second 0-60, but supposedly was tuned slower as to improve longevity of the parts.

But hey, they could be talking shit, either way, you're right in that the market Nismo does manage a mere 2.9 (although it feels strange calling that slow)

I dont think a 2 second 0-60 is possible with the amount of power the car has unless it was heavily modified.
I mean 600 horsepower is really not that much, especially considering that the car is heavy for a sports car (3800 lbs). 2 seconds is ridiculously quick. The only car that comes close is the Porsche 918 which does it in 2.2 seconds, but not only is it 100lbs lighter than the GT-R, it also has 287 more horsepower
