I guarantee that isnt 180 because 5 lb bumper plates dont exist, it might be 185 though, but my experience with weight lifting has taught me that 45 lb. bumper plates are much thicker than any of those on the bar. If i were to guess, i would say that is a 25 and two tens on each side.

Well maybe the plates are European and instead of 45 and 20 and 10lb plates she's using 20 and 10 and 5kg plates?

Whatever, I dont want to argue about this. Point is, it's not babyweight, and for a girl it's pretty impressive

ive never snatched in my lift. Nor do I jerk. I have done cleans a few times but I dont really like em, theyre too technical. I stick mainly to DL, bench, squats, and OHP

thats only 81kgs, I would definitely believe that she could lift that heck, chicks at my gym clean that much. Also for those wondering, different brands use different color's for their rubber crossfit plates. BUTT those plates look to be these particular ones www.sportsmith.net/productsearch.aspx?dsNav=N:750025 Rogue fistmas ones tend to have that huge obnoxious logo which would of been clearly visible in the video.

Again, I really don't care about the "indicator". The internet is full of people who follow the trend, I'm willing to bet 90% of those thumbs where from people who either didn't read my comment, or the rest of them, or only read them halfheartedly. Its my opinion, there is no right or wrong. I'm trying to explain my logic to you, but you don't agree with me. I really don't care, but trying to support your argument with thumbs is just sad.

The irony is painful with you. Also, to care about the thumbs you have or let it sway your opinion is pretty sad. People don't read properly, some people don't agree with my opinion. I really don't care. If you don't understand what I'm saying or agree with it, then whatever. Move on, I'm trying to explain to you what I was saying like I have with others, who (if you didn't notice) now realize what I'm saying.

But have fun caring about thumbs on funnyjunk, fun way to live your life I'm sure.

the point isn't about caring about thumbs. They're an indicator. Red thumbs=people disagree with you, green thumbs= they agree. If you have 20 people disagreeing with you then you have to be pretty delusional to think that you're still right and 20 seperate people are wrong

At a party yes, you do that. You're at the party to be social, as is everyone else.

Now walk up to a stranger in a crowded area, single them out. Now walk up to them and just say "Hi I'm anon, what's your name?" It's not a normal way to do it. Proper introductions are used in the proper situations. When around strangers just going about their day, you begin with small talk and if they're willing you move on further.

Again, read my situation. I'm not talking about parties or events that are meant for socialization. So try to calm down the butthurt with the attempted insults and read what I'm typing.

What if that's been her experience? What if she is with her group of friends and guys consistently come up to her and immediately ask her name, no one else. If you're goal is to make friends with people you start a conversation first, then once you have become acquainted you find out the person's name and information. Very rarely do you just walk up to a person and ask their name before anything else, it is both awkward and off-putting.

Do you see what I'm saying?
User avatar
#37 - swimmingprodigy (03/16/2015) [-]
Not really. Asking someone's name is a very normal thing to do. I dont know what kind of socially retarded planet you live on but It's usually the first thing you do. That's why it's called an introduction.

Most people i want to talk to I ask for their name first. Not if it's something quick like asking for the time, but if I'm at a party and want to get to know someone (male or female), I start out with "Hi, im anon. what's your name?"
