Very true. I'm 21, and I was talking to a girl at work, I thought she was around my age, then she mentioned her kid, I asked how old the kid is, she said seven, so I realized she either got pregnant at 14 or is older than I thought, so I asked and she said 28. I would have never guessed.

haha yeah I've had that happen all the time when I end up hanging out with some new people I think they're my age or whatever and we get to the inevitable question of what's your major blah blah and come to find out their about to graduate or something

Exactly, the twenties are an awkward age, everyone looks about the same, yet you could be in three different stages of life.

That's true, when you are still young, five years make quite a difference. But once you reach about 27 (the younger of the two) it makes close to zero difference.
User avatar #214 - sweetnothings (07/25/2013) [-]
I agree. I feel like once you get out of college or even in college at times it seems like age doesn't really matter when it comes to dating. I mean you're going to like who you're going to like at that point and once you get into the real world unless you specifically ask sometimes you don't even realize the age difference of someone you're talking to

that is true. Personally a 5 year difference isn't terrible especially since she is 18. I couldn't imagine being a senior in college or out of college and dating someone fresh out of high school but that's just because I've seen how much people change in college. and with the girl dating her dad's friend that's just wrong for quite a few reasons that I won't go into

User avatar #210 - sweetnothings (07/25/2013) [-]
Yeah so have I but I've also seen parents be perfectly ok with a relationship like that one. It has nothing to do with my state it just has to do with certain parents being, let's be nice and say their not exactly the best at their job.
