It's not normal. And I don't think 14 year olds can play this game very well if all their attention is to their pitched tent.

I don't think 14 year olds with the attention spans of a fly are really this games core audience, especially because some cut scenes can go on for 30 minutes

To be honest though there is alot of weird stuff like that in Metal Gear games, characters with cleavage, giant nuclear mechs, cyborg ninjas. Keep in mind despite it being set around a U.S black op it's still a very japanese game.

I think Paz and Chico are confirmed for the game and a very young Solid Snake might be as well.

Peace Walker was was set in 1974, 2 years after Solid Snake was born. According to things I've read about GZs is that it leads right up to the events of Outer Heaven so Snake could make an appearance near the end of something.
