I should have elaborated.. There's always people who hide guns and smuggle them, no matter what government does. (They can always throw in the Bill of Rights at the government's face- freedom to bare arms, etc) So, if government somehow banned gun use, which, in my opinion, they're slowly taking steps to do, the people who DO have weapons can raise all hell. Then, they can go to court, mention that they got hit as a child and that their parents got divorced, and have a lesser sentencing because they're "mentally ill".

Nothing. I was sustaining the desire to live in a world without guns rather than entering the clusterfuck that is this discussion.

If I were to give my 2 cents then I would simply say that I don't think people should be stripped of their guns. I just think it would be sensible to make registering it and having training for it should be compulsory.
