Not so good :( i'm having a depression for 4 weeks now,fucking hate everything and myself.4 weeks ago i was happy,talkative and center of attention...i hope i will get better soon.
How about you?Where are you from?

i'm from the eastern coast of the US. sorry to hear things aren't so well over there. :c i feel like that sometimes, but it only lasts for as long as i allow it, and then i pull myself out of it, listen to some music, play some video games, read some books, hang out with my friends, etc. is there any particular reason why you're depressed?

as for me, like i said, it changes from day to day. today was a pretty good day, for example, but i felt like crap yesterday because of something i didn't do when i had the chance. most of my "depressed" moods are brought on by thoughts of this one particular person, but i comfort myself in knowing that i at least got to meet them.

It's a new thing for me, i never had a depression and i don't know what to do but i think that i have to do what i like and i am doing it. I am working out, chilling with my friends and i do listen to music every day. I used to play video games but i changed because of a girl i really like and i talk to her when i have a chance,video games aren't fun to me anymore. I'm reading 'Hamlet' but still...can't stop thinking about how shitty life is :(. When i'm with my friends, i'm just being quiet and just walking around with them. They do ask what's wrong with me,but i only told like 4 people about my problem,i told it to people i trust the most. I am afraid that i am not strong enough to live through it, it hurts too much :(.....just want to end with my life. That girl i like, she knows it and she kinda rejected me and i'm friendzoned...i know i should forget her but i like her too much :( can't stop thinking about her, she cares about me,she was the first person i told about my problem and we are really getting along but just like friends and it hurts. I think that i am depressed because of a teacher,she is trying to kick me out of school and it just drives me insane and i want to kill her -.-. So much hate ,because of her. She is also calling me names and i can't do shit about it, she can't do that :(. I tried to kill myself because of her :(.
P.S. Yeee,it's 5th week of my depression.

You tried to kill yourself? That's never the answer. Even when I felt useless, even when I wanted to do nothing but lie down and sleep away my troubles, I never considered suicide. Some people say it takes a brave man to commit suicide -- but that's only when the end is justified by the means. Committing suicide simply to get away from your life isn't brave, it's just idiotic; you have to keep believing that your life will always get better, that you as an individual can positively affect the lives of others by living each and every day -- even if it hurts. Committing suicide will only make the people in your life think they weren't enough to make you happy, and that will make them feel terrible.

As for your liking a girl that doesn't like you back, I'm in a position that I can understand almost exactly where you're coming from. I am love with a married man -- I'm a girl, if you didn't know -- though unlike you, I have no way of telling him how I feel. (If I ever did, chances are I wouldn't ever be able to speak to him again.) On the contrary, on of my friends has admitted to being in love with me time and time again, though my feelings for him have always been nothing more than a level of friendship. Sometimes, I feel downright awful, but when it comes right down to it, you can't help who you fall in love with -- and sometimes, people will get hurt because of it. Who knows -- maybe you'll realize that your feelings for her aren't so strong after all, and you'll move on to someone else who actually does care about you as more than just a friend. It's a little difficult to know, though; I've fooled myself into thinking I was in love with a couple of people, but I realized soon after what a fool I was. You can't really know love until you've experienced it. If you really do love her, then...I wish you luck.
