Oh, I meant maple leafs as in "haha I'm Canadian", not the Toronto Maple Leafs.

I actually don't watch hockey all that much. Unless I'm in a bar on game night, then suddenly I magically know everything about the game.

You never made mistakes.... Oh wait, you just did... A cleaver would most likely cleave someone's skull not crack it, there is a slight chance of cracking it instead if weak force is applied.

And by saying "kicking someone out" you're implying your job is to beat someone out of the venue. Which also mean getting into fights... following your strict stuck up ass logic then you're also wrong.
User avatar #335 - subaqueousreach (09/03/2014) [-]
I don't know why you think I've never made mistakes, but I'm flattered you'd have thought that of me until this moment.

And you are correct, cleavers are most definitely for cleaving and not cracking, I don't know what I could have been thinking. I am the fool.

While yes, kicking out can refer to forcibly removing someone from the premises, it is more often than not used to refer to simply telling someone they have to leave.

The thing about planes that travel at supersonic speeds though (as opposed to submarines) is that they're in the fucking air. There are no blue whales or floating piles of detritus in the air. Even a stray goose can bring down a boeing. What happens when a freaking submarine going that fast hits something much bigger?
User avatar #49 - subaqueousreach (09/02/2014) [-]
All I'm saying is I'm sure that the guys who can design this thing are probably smart enough to figure out how to get around the many obstacles of the ocean or they would already have scrapped the idea.

For fuck sake dude, it's a way of speaking! Are you seriously that stupid or just trying to be cleaver?

When you say "kick out people" it's also a way of speaking, you're not literally kicking someone out.

Security guards are hired for many reasons. Close protection, vigilance and receptionist (the worst kind)... The one description you mentioned falls under vigilance.
User avatar #331 - subaqueousreach (09/03/2014) [-]
By saying your job is to "crack the skulls of intruders" you're implying your job is to get into fights with the people who intrude on whatever property you're watching over, which is wrong. To think you're not sending that message to people is ignorant.

Also, it's clever not cleaver, a cleaver is what someone might use to effectively crack a skull.

Hey sorry for that asshole that replied to you on the feels channel. I had commented back before I checked his page and realised his account got banned in a sea of red thumbs, hah.

Oh I remember that now, yeah thanks a bunch for standing up for me ^_^

I'm glad he got banned, we definitely need less people like that on the internet (and the world) in general, let alone Funnyjunk.

All right, I can't find the exact link, but it was on the feels channel on a mother post, and you were explaining how your mother sent you and yoour brothers out to a back alley everytime you went somewhere, and he said it was too bad you were a brony. I replied to him saying just because he's a brony his emotional hardship doesn't matter, **** you. Something like that. Anyway that was before I clicked on his channel and found out he had been banned.
