From everything I've read about the series, the MC pursues his love interest (pictured above) faithfully throughout. Also gets his first kiss, and tells off the other girls that are interested in him. So his mistake above is the exception to the rule.

Not a fan of Disturbed's version of that song. They are easily a top 5 band of mine but Draiman has way too much of a monotone voice for that song.I prefer the Bobaflex version InB4 my opinion is shit and im wrong

This guy isn't though, far from it. Apart from the whole "how is a couple supposed to act", this guy's got shit on tight lockdown.
He actually avoids every single common pitfall, sometimes quite gloriously.
