How did it turn out in Russia? Putin was fairly elected, and has been quite a good leader for them. This is coming from a person who follows Russian politics and events.

The West's animosity for Iran is not based off of Ahmadinejad. He is not a bad leader. He allows for nuclear inspections to be held in all of Iran's reactors, while Israel hasn't even signed the NNPT. For all we know, Israel is plotting to destroy the earth with the hundreds of nuclear weapons they have.

Fun fact: Netanyahu has been saying that Iran was building a nuclear weapon since the late 1990's, during his first presidency. They weren't building it then, they aren't now. And even if they are, it is in a totally defensive manner. Just look at games like Battlefield 2 showing the invasion of Iran, and the warmongering in American media. Don't they have a right to protect themselves?

Even after the next election in Iran, the hate towards the country will not cease by Israel. What we really need, is for Israel to get a better leader.

the Russian constitution has presidential limits, which putin broke by being in the last election, which even after a recount, still doesnt take away from the fact he cheated in the first place. He is trying to turn the country back to where it has worked so hard to get away from.

sigh, i just want to live in a world were shit is all good, and where there was only truth in media, where politics is cut and dry, and where people can meet people without hatred, but we are all only human. But its up to people like us to ask the tough questions and do our part to help out struggling world, and not yell at people on the Internet trying to forcefully educate them about what small facts we know and have them except it as the only truth. we need to piece together what we all know to get the big picture we all need. it should just be a simple matter of being able to look it up, but because of this "lie enough until everyone thinks its true" media its very hard to do that, for all we know, every opinion is someone else's propaganda. this is why we all need each other, its a giant jigsaw puzzle, and everyone has a piece, we just need to determine how they fit together and which pieces dont belong. so thank you for helping me realize this.

Iran isn't a great place!! It's a theocracy under sharia law! Homosexuals, raped women, Jews, and a whole shit son of other innocent people are executed everyday in that fucking ass backwards country. There may be some people who really are good people, but the majority have been poisoned by their fucked up society.

But I would like to say to this Proximity guy that muslims are generally very peaceful and kind people, and I should remid you that the bible and torah are both pretty fucked up. In fact, the quran is pretty much the same thing, but they actually follow it in those middle eastern countires like Iran.

you are a gentleman and a scholar, however i must point out that most of this is due to the regime with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at the helm and that most of the people are pretty cool
of course ive only had the opportunity to socialize with Iranians who have gotten the fuck out of there
unfortunately it is a backward ass country, but i have hope it will get a proper leader, one who represents its people better
