I loved AC4. Assassin's Creed has lost much of its appeal to me (ACTUAL SPOILER particularly since they came up with STUPID bullshit reasons why Desmond, the least interesting character, was STILL ALIVE. ), but AC4's gameplay (particularly on the sea) was so fantastic I just couldn't take my hands off the keyboard.

It ran really well, too. Only Shadow of Mordor really beats it in terms of how wel-optimized it is. Being a relatively recent Ubisoft game, that's saying something.

Also, sea shanties.
