tylosaurus (05/17/2013) [-] World of Warcraft, made by blizzard, who also made Warcraft III and frozen throne. (The original idea for the MMORPG) did not contribute in any way to LoL or Dota 2. Warcraft, however had custom maps that players made. Here, warcraft DotA was created. It was so popular that some of the people who had worked on making the DotA games in Warcraft also made LoL. That's why it's inspired by it, but still far from a rip-off. and personally, I think it's a nice game. It's just that the community (Like most other games, it's almost inevitable with online communities, but this one in particular..) is utter shit. Hope that cleared something out for you, even if you're attempting to troll.  #459383
