I've done that too. My second girlfriend broke up with me a week later. My third girlfriend said I love you back, and we've been together for 8 months.

And sorry, I read "like every time I say it to a girl". And anyway I was talking about my own love, it was easier to write it that way instead of talking about guys.

Mine actually lasted about 3 years till she decided she was too young to really commit any longer. It was sad but i understood and let it be. We actually were great friends after.

Good for you guys! It sucks to lose not only your mate but your friend. Usually one part ends up really hurt, it seems, but when it is mutual there is no one loser, at least

First of all, I SAID I was a girl. Stop saying she. And my mistake, I didn't mean to phrase it like I wasn't sure what love was, I was actually asking if anybody else did what me and Sonos do/did, saying "I think I'm in love with you" when you are pretty sure you feel it and want to show your affection but maybe not want to risk it all. For every long-term relationship I've had me and my partner have said "I love you" (or "I think I love you") 2-4 months into the relationship, every time that seems to be the amount of time it takes to get to that level! It's almost too specific

The first time I said it was 3 months into my first relationship and my exact words were "I think i'm in love with you". This pic gave me a little flashback haha.
