Well as a german I'd say that "Pumper" could come from "pumpen", meaning "pump" something( water) or lending money to someone, and a nickel..is some money, so its like a coin i borrowed from someone

Glad you brought up Musashi. Read the Book of Five Rings, his philosophy and practice! Oh, and Musashi once turned up late to a duel, armed only with an oversized sword he carved out of a wooden oar. He then proceeded to use said oar to beat his opponent to death, before getting back in his boat and rowing off again.

Yeah but that's a katana and a wakizashi, which are two very differnet swords, so even he wasn't dual-wielding-katanas-on-horseback-tier.

He preferred to have a wakizashi in his offhand, but could easily dualwield full length katanas in both hands. Intrestingly enough he said something among the lines that that wielding a katana in his left is "Unnessessary if one is skilled enough" implying that the weight and length of one is not cumbersome, and that wielding a second katana could be considered easier. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miyamoto_Musashi#Ni-Ten_Ichi_Ryu
