You just said I could probably beat the main story in 12 hours. So clearly it's possible.

With the expansion add-ons it would probably only take another 4 hours or so depending on how much it adds. Unless of course the expansion has enough content to make an entire new campaign of equal length, in which case I'd consider it a separate 12 hour challenge since it'd basically be a new game.

If you are like most people and search everywhere in dungeons and what not and actually care to have good armor and weapons and spells, it would take you at least two days to beat morrowind. There is just so much shit to do

It takes me several weeks to beat most campaigns (I take my time and usually hop between games).

It took me half a year to beat Bad Company 2's campaign

Also, I've never really been a fan of the Elder Scroll series until Skyrim.

We had a 16 hour SNES session and beat Secret of Mana 1 and 2, Kirby Superstar, and Zombies Ate My Neighbors in that time.

The longest SNES game I've played was Final Fantasy IV (or III in North America) and that took 8 hours.

Morrowind? I could imagine beating the main storyline within 12 hours, but doubt the expansions and a pile of the other stuff. It's for PC, $20 for GotY edition on steam.
