I should have phrased that better. I meant that they disregarded religion when the constitution was written and the country was established. essentially, it was atheist in theory, but the law really meant that anything could be practiced, and they didn't have to belong to any specific religion

Oh gawd. I got my one kitty when I was 1 or two, and when I was 13ish my brother moved out and took him, too. About a month later he told me how he hasn't gotten up, eaten, or drank for days. I visited him the next day and he died as I was petting him.

Feels all round, I had to have my cat Tigger put down last august. We got him when i was 3 so i had grown up with him all of my life (until I was 16). Me and my dad bawled our eyes out in the vets and vowed to not get another cat as we can't deal with the sadness :(

we got Jarvis when my mother was 3 months pregnant with me. I don't know what life is like without his presence.
