the problem is not that the ending is tragic or not I find it genuinely lazy, disgustingly lazy.
now that's a super spoiler incoming
the way he fucking killed everybody in the last chapters of the dark tower was so fucking bad, man come on they survive through so much shit and then they get killed by some ex machina bad turn of event that are completly stupid and unlogical with the experience they gained through the journey
and the fucking false happy ending that he got for Susannah, she's in an alternate universe happy with a clone of jake and eddie, like wtf how is she in any ways supposed to be ok with the facts that she has lost everybody and now has to live with pale copies of the one she loved
then there's mordred that get killed like a little shit
and i'm not sure but at the end when we learn what happen in the dark tower isn't there a couple of pages of King talking to the readers like a bunch of spoiled piece of shit because we want to know what happen in it?
well sorry mate I might have gone full retard but a reply would be nice it's been a long time since i could talk with somebody about the books
- ***** why the **** did you reply then
Because why not? I literally have nothing to do today
well you disappointed the guy who asked the question cuz he figured he got a reply that held any usefulness to the conversation
- my friend, what is that theme name?
Well the melody is originally "The Battle Hymn of the Republic", dunno where this actual song is from. I found it sourceless here on FJ.
- It ended because of Ghandi ordeal in India.
My understanding is that it also had rather low viewership, although some blame lies with the network for that.
Also, following the Ghandi upset the writers were going to apologize by doing a plot twist that Ghandi was a clone of someone else, and use that to explain his behavior. Not sure how well that was received, but I think if they'd gone that way the show could've kept going.
