Fair enough, my sotsog comics and my others are taking a toll lately since I'm out of college and now a member of the working class. Hopefully that only means more relevant jokes and not a complete lack of content.

Kids, not much I can say.

I don't think I attacked you, I try to respond to anyone who posts rage comics in that channel. Thing is there are a ton of subscribers to OC-Comic-makers and the one constant is everyone gets pissed when a rage comic gets posted. (It is after all one of the main points of having that channel).

Subscribers tend to browse through sections of FJ that they like in particular in hopes to avoid the content they find annoying. For some it's Avatar posts, My little pony, pokemon, morbid, rage comics ect. Now this channel has around 250 subscribers. Whether your content is good or not most will automatically just down vote in spite.

I'm not saying your content is bad I'm simply making you aware. If you were to upload it in a different channel I bet it would even thrive. And don't be afraid to draw it's a waste of talent to make rage comics. Hope you don't give up on the channel I'm sure you can make some really cool work.

i was not aware of this, and if what you say is true than i truly apologize for attacking you back. i was not really attacking you but i was just informing you ( i didnt realize in an attacking manner) that i posted it in the channel that you recommended.

How's the site going for you? got any followers?

Peaks at around 1000 views every 30 days. I was banned from Reddit so until I swallow my pride and make another account that's gonna stay pretty consistent. Some followers but nothing to special it's still a new project and a minor one while I'm trying to work on a few new things, but thanks to its simplicity I plan on keeping it going for a good while.

Justthefirstframe,com has been amazing, it's a good community and I highly suggest it for your own comic. Still very new but it helps get traffic and it's a good idea for a site.

But this is a simple comic I created a few years back and started up again after a 3 year hiatus. It's absurd and the art is crazy simplified so I can keep a good schedule and work with my cowriter with ease (I promise you I'm a much better Illustrator than this). It's been getting an odd amount of attention, yesterday it was selected as a feature on DrunkDuck. It's hard to tell how a project like this progresses though and I don't keep good relations with other artists. It would be really cool if we could compare stats/critique/ or whatever. Good to know people with the same interests.

Well, I am also kind of starting back up after a 2 year break from comics, so I am still really inconsistent and haven't found what it is I want my comics to be about, and because my writing style is extremely random and rarely has a punchline my comics tend to be the same way.

That sounds great! I am getting to know more artists around this community and many are willing to help out! (Including me)
