Yeah, anti-depressants often have nigh impossible-seeming effects on people although now she's only going to probably have to stay on them for her entire life. I've got a few relatives who also suffer from depression. Unless if she'll get constant 24/7 support and reassurance 7 days a week from friends and relatives, she'll have to live out her days gulping happy pills down like they were TicTacs.

it's a very minute does of the anti-depressants 20mg once a day, also they don't seem to make much difference if she misses a few days on the anti-depressants. Hopefully wont be the case

Alright. Where to start...
What were your first thoughts?
Did it impact your life THAT much?
Did you parents overreact/overexplain anything?
How did your parents react?
Who else (amongst real life peers, friends and family) knows about that?
What did the people in the previous question say about it?
What about hygiene. You said at first she was a he/she. Does that mean male cologne or female perfume?
Am I delving in too deep?

I can probably answer all those questions just by telling you the story. I'm 17 and she's 18 soon to be 19. For the last 4 years she's been almost totally excluded from society with severe depression. My parents were literally falling apart trying to help her but because she never talked they just didn't know what to do. Eventually we found out what was wrong and over the last year or so have done everything we can to help her through it. At first it was like Wow... okay then. Honestly the hardest part is the pronoun. Even now I slip up and it's awkward.

Overall everyone took it pretty well. My parents were seriously shocked, but only because they weren't told straight away. They're actually a bit hurt by the fact they indirectly caused 4 years of depression for her. Atleast that's how they see it. Soon after she started on HRT and anti-depressants, Since then it's been unbelievable progress. She's so much happier and actually doing things with her life, she goes out and has friends it's crazy to see such a different in a short space of time. As for hygiene yeah all girl stuff, though upon saying that I'd quite like to smell like a violet. Who the fuck says guys can't smell pretty. But yeah. Hope I didn't miss anything

Sooo, what are you complaining about then? I was simply trying to console a tow man so that he doesn't feel like he's losing his job.
I never said anything about more jobs makes a better economy.

That's what I mean though. They probably don't operate on their own. I imagine it's probably difficult to run them too, not to mention maintain them. The towing industry could just rotate to fixing these little fuckers, and jobs would still be available. Just different kinds of jobs.
User avatar #68 - sonictheblueguy (14 hours ago) [-]
I'm too tired to get into this properly but the mechanization of this world means that not everyone needs to work. While I don't agree with fattass benefit whores claiming child tax credit for their 32 kids. (Good old England) The old idea that more people in work means a better economy is bloody stupid. And it doesn't work anymore.
