She only added the dual structure after losing that fight. If you watch the scene she said she added it since she had lost a fight just a short time ago.

Go watch it. If you like surrealism, it's pretty damn good. But it's kind of polarizing as far as I know. Everyone I know either loves it or hates it. I love it. So I recommend.

I'm probably stupid for asking this, but what do the two have in common?

Heath Ledger barely survived Dark Knight and went on to act in Imaginarium before dying. Had he died in Dark Knight, such as by the coin landing burnt-side-up, that movie would have never had him in it. (Is joke.)

That's a trickier part, I agree, but don't forget that that was not his initial plan. He looked at Gotham one day and probably thought that Batman was an interesting guy. Thus, in the best way possible, he made an entrance and caught everyone's attention in order to meet him. The more times he faced Batman and or heard of him the more he saw into his personality. Finally, he decided that he was going to break Batman like a toy. What I'm saying is, this whole plan of proving everyone's evil on the inside was also a whim. He had no further plans. If he actually broke Batman, he wouldn't know what to do next and go on another whim. "I'm a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do with one if I caught it." Get it?

Hmmm. I get ya. Good thing Harvey didn't shoot him anyways, because I really liked the Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus.

You're looking into it too literally. He wasn't saying that he didn't plan. He just said that, every plan he had put forth, like the bank robbery, the mob negotiation, the bombings and the murders had been done on a whim. They had been planned, but there was no bigger plan. He simply did things. Do you understand now?
#49 - soloman (03/30/2015) [-]
I guess the concept makes more sense, but nevertheless he did have a bigger plan, didn't he? To prove that anyone could be as crazy as him, it only took the right circumstances. In fact Harvey ended up completing his plan for him.
