 Best case scenario is that they go several movies with a character and you have no fucking clue that they're gay just for it to be brought up as late as late and nonchalantly as possible, the reactions should also be casual. Because in the future where nobody cares about anyone elses sexuality unless they're trying to fuck them.  Yeah but that did not work with legend of Korra, the blog-o-sphere collectively shit their pants No one had a problem with her sexuality, they had a problem with the romance being asserted so late.  If it was my decision I would shoot a scene in one of the upcoming movies that has nothing to do with the story but just depicts Poe fucking like 8 women at once, just to piss off the tumblrinas. #40 -

Tumblr is dumb though. Poe is going to try to bang Finn, but since Finn is straight he's going to bang Rey. My hope is that this will turn Poe into a SW version of Jack Harkness.  Captain Jack is one of the only positive examples for sexual diversity I have ever been able to offer, just an awesome character regardless of his sexuality that barely brings it up and when he does it is done very normally, much the same way it would were he straight. My hopes are if Poe is gay it is only slightly remarked about and not over done. I hate it when stories try and make sexuality/race/gender/etc. a character trait #85 -

I married into hers and lived with them for a while. The door in my wife's old room didn't latch so we had to barricade it to keep it closed and one time her sister tried to barge in while we were fucking even though we yelled not to.
