These are the things you need to do:
1. Don't worry! You can control nightmares and hallucinations
2. Make a dream journal. Record your dreams. This will help your dreams become more vivid.
3. Do "reality checks" for example, during the day, ask yourself, "am i dreaming?" and try to push your index finger through your hand and count your fingers. Do this 20+ times a day. If you make a habit of this, you will do it in a dream and it will work (your fingers will go through your hand, and you will have more fingers.
4. DO NOT DO A "WILD" (WAKE INDUCED LUCID DREAM) UNTIL YOU ARE EXPERIENCED IN LUCID DREAMS
5. Try doing what I did to get my first lucid dream. I did a WBTB (wake back to bed) and FILD (finger induced lucid dream...sounds wrong IK)
Wake up 6 hours after you go to sleep and go right back to sleep. Move your index and middle fingers ever so slightly, as if you were playing the piano right when you feel your about to fall asleep. Do this for about thirty seconds then check to see if you are dreaming. It works well for beginners. That's all! Friend me if you want

Heres a link: Worldofluciddreaming.com
User avatar #5924 - rrenierr (06/23/2012) [-]
well, I actually get lucid dream
but before you go to sleep, you gotta say to yourself:
If I'm flying, I'm dreaming
If I got wings, im dreaming
if i'm a toaster, im dreaming

just make rules to recognise a dream from realitty
it really increases the change of having one

Well.. My ex-girlfriend told me she had noticed that it looked weird too, so I'm not the only one :P

Really what I was looking for was an exercise that would only train one of the muscles, so I could focus on that for awhile :)
User avatar #2347 - marinepenguin (06/24/2012) [-]
Use dumbbells and it should even out. But it won't even out totally since you are left hand dominant (I am too) and that is just naturally your stronger side.

Do you know any exercises I could do for evening this out?
User avatar #2420 - marinepenguin (06/24/2012) [-]
I would just do different workouts that focus on your chest, and do them until you think both arms are at the same level, since one will be able to take more weight than the other and the weaker one will naturally catch up. That's how I fixed it, just takes some time. Although it will never be totally the same.

Well I'm left handed, so I guess it's because of that. I don't really work out, but I did once, and then a long break, and then I started again recently. But yeah, always both of them.

haha no shit, im a lefty too, yeah that type of thing happens, everyone has a stronger side, many youre the only one who can notice it because youre aware of your body. although if it gets too noticeable you might be relying a bit more on your left side when bench pressing so drop down to a weight where you feel both sides can handle the pressure evenly

cametocomment's suggestion is pretty good.

However there's another program I liked better (I have completed both of them). Same thing, go to TPB and look for "Visual Impact Muscle Building".

You probably already know this, but nutrition is extremely important; You should consume a diet of ~3,500 calories. Divide it up into 6 smaller meals, each consisting of (give or take) 500 calories, 20-40gr of protein and 80-100gr of carbohydrates.

Good luck.

If you are a pirate and want to get in really good shape go on TPB and then find "Heart of a champion" it's a fitness routine who will get you in great shape, i did it for 8 weeks and i am still following it and i got some sick abs now!

Please, do not attempt to use words that you do not understand. You could have continued using your naturally childish vocabulary, and you wouldn't have seemed like you were such an idiot. Your entire second sentence almost came off as the type you would read in a third grade essay of a first grade-level student who thought he was a college-level student...

I'll assume that under correct grammar, you meant "Would you agree to say that the word Native Americans -- while in denotation refers to Americans, indigenous to America -- refers, in connotation to North Americans of American descent?"

And if so, no. That question is stupid. Connotation is often dependent on whom you are speaking to.

Generally, if you are speaking to somebody who is uneducated and says things like "America is one continent, unless we're referring to the people, in which case, it is two continents" then yes, they will say that Native Americans are specific to North America (and will also babble like an idiot when you ask them to explain what South American Natives are called)

But, if you talk to somebody who has at least the BASELINE of intelligence, they will tell you that the person above (Spoiler: It's you) is completely stupid, and could probably not form a cohesive thought lasting more than their own attention span.

Yes, subjectivity is governed by having many individual meanings. So here's your subjectivity.

The word Native Americans has ALWAYS referred to Natives of NORTH and SOUTH America. It wasn't until the 1930s, when a group of people known as "nativists" decided that they wanted all Blacks, Asians and Mexicans to be thrown out of the country. To accomplish this, they stated that the only people Native to America (Native Americans) were people who had been born in the United States. Later, they amended this statement to disallow even more minorities by limiting this to "them pesky injuns and WASPs".

Have fun basing your views of culture on archaic Red Scare-era racism.

Using terms that were only used to marginalize others, yes.

I guess, under your logic, it's also completely socially acceptable to refer to all black people as niggers, and assume that they are slaves.

Also, I understand that you have never learned to use critical thinking, or derive information from text, so I will make it clear: The word is not subjective, the word is region dependent. (if you are in America, you call long pieces of fried potato "fries", but if you are in England, you call them "chips". You however, cannot do it the opposite way around, at the risk of having your meaning misconstrued)

Also, the word Native American is NOT variable. It has a concise meaning that you can derive from the name. That's right, Native Americans are natives of America.

Now, if you think that America is a single continent; then congratulations, there's your answer.

And, if you think that South America and North America are two different continents, it would be logical that natives would be separated by being Native North Americans and Native South Americans. Further logic would dictate that the word "Americas" is a plural of the two Americas, and therefore the two continents would STILL be classified as the Americas.

Also, maybe (again, due to your inability to think critically and see context) you missed what I intended with the fact about Amerigo Vespucci:

If Americo Vespucci, the man who America is named after, only knew of ONE continent (South America), wouldn't it be safe to assume that HE would only refer to it as "America", and not as "South America", considering he only thought that there was one part to "America"?

Now, to maybe make this a little easier for you to understand: If I use the word Natives of China, it could be assumed that I am referring to the group that consists of Native Chinese, Native Japanese, Native Koreans, etc. etc.
#77 - snoopyshouse (05/11/2012) [-]
oh dude i realize know this is probably the most fun you get out the internet, and while youre apparent desire to make me come off as a racist ignorant is amusing i must take a break from this debacle, ill leave you with this;

would you agree to say that native Americans while denotatively referrers to Americans indigenous to `both Americas `(just america for me), connotatively referrers to north Americans of American descent

also, subjective has many meaning among them personal prejudice or existing in the mind, which i find to be a good way to employ the word, i could go on about how i digress in terms of your opinion and while, but as i stated above i must take a break, it 4:30 am over here
