My girlfriend's birthmom and sister (never knew her dad) died in a house fire when she was 5. Her adopted parents are mean to her and abuse her every now and then. She suffers from depression and anxiety, but worst of all, she has a heat disease called HCM, which doctors told her when she was 12, would kill her by the time she turns 18 (she's 15 now). A year ago she tried to stab herself to death but that ddin't work. but everything is looking better now cause I've been with her a lot and I've been fortunate enough to have made an impact and make her happy.

So chin up. It gets better, and it could always be worse. I mean, you could be a starving African child (tht's what I always tell her)
