Look at her form and compare it to that video.
Her back is twisting to the side, and her knees are getting way more pressure than that of a dumb bell snatch.
Her form is completely wrong for that weight, and to continue like that would either break her knees at some point, or make her back crooked to the side. Either way, you should NEVER do what you see her doing, its terrible for your body.

Holy fucking shit. She has one arm. She has one fucking arm, and she's lifting more than you probably ever will. You're just trying to find ways to justify your lazy ass not doing anything. "Ohhh I don't lift weights because it's bad for you." I imagine that's what you tell yourself whenever someone brings up lifting. People like you are just encouraging laziness and degeneracy.
Sure, maybe she will develop muscular imbalances, but that's only because she has one fucking arm. At least she's doing something.

Because its really rude, and doesn't help your point at all.
And as for me lifting, i do. Ive recently started, and im only at my 5th week but im making good progress.
As for imbalance, of course she will have some imbalance. I'm not saying she won't have imbalance. I'm saying that the excersize shes doing will be damaging, as her back can get crooked and she might sustain a lot of pain if she keeps doing it.

i can tell you with more clarity and experience that she's doing an exercise that is really only physically possible to do correctly with 2 hands. Is it great that she's trying? Yes, of course. But a better exercise would be a dumbell snatch, not a barbell snatch. Doing any exercise incorrectly is a one way ticket to snap city

she should be doing a dumbbell snatch. Good for her that she's exercising. Still not good that she's doing an exercise she doesn't need to do that could hurt her when there are exercises that are incredibly similar that won't cause incredible imbalances and fuck up her spine.

At the end of the day, she's not playing by the same rules we are. She's going to have muscle imbalances because she's crippled. That's just how it is. I'm not sure why you think her back is at risk....

because her back is at risk if she continues to do this kind of exercise. There's a reason nobody does any of the heavy lifts if they have a very severe curvature in their back to the left or right: you can easily hurt yourself. What she is doing here may look cool, but when she enters the second pull into the extension she's doing some sort of hybrid row/upright row/ high pull into the catch position. Under heavy weight or a high number of reps, this can damage the spine and the muscles surrounding it.

The point of contact for the extension was way too low for all of that force to come from hip drive. Even in a normal snatch, a high pull is required to pull the lifter under the bar and also to pull the bar up. Most of the force came from the crooked high pull, as there was barely any force from the extension. Her hand is in the middle of the bar, so it makes sense that there wasn't that much of an extension.

seeing how its impossible to tell whether or not she was doing an exhibit or exercise, it's more likely she does snatches regularly cause it looks like she's doing some sort of crossfit stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if it was and she got handed the retarded "you can do literally anything" ideology (you can't if you're missing an arm)

I don't claim to be an expert, and i never did. I asked friends that have more experience than me about this, and simply wrote what they told me.
and as for being a pretty chill guy, i somehow doubt that. You seemed to snap very easily, and that might not be a good idea.
