My vocal chords were shot from laughing so hard. It was like watching an entire team comprised only of a dozen iterations of the three stooges.

Adding on to what that other dude said, Fallout Equestria is probably the single most famous fanfiction ever written. So good that it's become an entire standalone work with it's own wiki's and fanfictions about it (yes, fanfictions about fanfiction). As for if it's good... It's the single most praised MLP fanfiction ever and possibly considered the best fanfiction in general, it's considered extremely good not only as a fanfic but as literature.

There's also plenty of reference to fallout's 1 and 2 alongside the fallout 3 references just if you were interested.

Is it good? Would a fic that was bad have actually gone into limited print? Would a fic that is bad have spawned its own genre? No, This Fic is Astounding, the amount of backstory and story interconnectivity in general is mindblowing. I have read it 3 times now and still get chills. In fact, I am just signed up to aid in a 3 year project to make a full conversion mod for fallout 3.
If you like Fallout in general, Then you will love this even with no prior knowledge of MLP (Although the backstory is partially about discovering what happened 200 years ago, centering mostly around the mane 6, so a brief review of the general character list wouldn't hurt).

Are you referring to the ending? Because I thought it was a complete and utter cop out. Like she just kinda gave in. She could have gone back, and given the task to someone else who would have been more than happy to take it, she had plenty of people she could trust and who would have done it without question. And the epilogue, Oh dear god, It left more questions than the original ending did.

The ending did leave me feeling a little forlorn, but that was mostly because I don't do very well with endings

What got me was the whole premise of the story, the history behind it, and the brutality and bitterness of the conflicts that took place throughout the narrative. Also, the questions of what was righteous and pure were compelling in the sense that it's demonstrated in the story that sometimes things aren't always black and white in regards to what actions must be taken in certain situations. All of it just sorta piled on to create this emotional roller coaster that I didn't really experience until after I finished the story.

Fuck you would never believe me, but might as well tell you anyway. www.equestriadaily.com/2011/04/story-fallout-equestria.html
Its an MLP crossover, with all the gore, explosions, slavery, and death you would expect from a typical playthrough of fallout 3.
I warned you, you probably wouldn't like it.
That being said, This Fic has created an entire new genre, that encompass over 2300 stories in over 7 different languages.
