For world war one America came late to the war so you can't say that they single handily won. As for world war two it was a joint effort of the allies that won that war and america still came late to the war. Not bashing nations or anything but facts are facts.

WW2 was not a standoff between the US and Russia. It was a war that started between Germany and France. The US eventually intervened after Germany accidentally attacked a U.S. ship killing civilians. It ended when a combination of US and Russian forces took berlin. You are right about the cold war being a standoff between the US and Russia, we cannot safely say that Europe would be under Russian rule but Germany surely would have been.

WW1 was won by allied forces of U.S., France, and UK. Where you are somewhat right is that for most of the war it was a "draw" because both forces gave and took land but never really got anywhere. Eventually Germany had to agree to a cease-fire due to the fact that they could no longer continue fighting the war. While it seemed like a draw the allied forces were able to stop the Central powers which was the plan. Which technically resulted in an allied victory.

Do your research, germany was very much to blame. They influenced their allies to get into conflicts so they could accomplish what they wanted. However you are right where they are were to blame for making alliances and forcing so much tension in europe. But Germany had set into motion the events that would lead to even more tension and eventually their influence led serbia to declare war, which started everything.

I have read countless books and done numerous hours of research on these two wars. I didn't get my facts from some teacher i had in highschool. Germany was allied with Austria waaaaaaaaaay before Ferdinand was assassinated. Do you know why? No you probably don't. The king of Germany at the time was Wilhelm II who was cousins with King George V of England and Tsar Nicolas II of Russia and a fuck ton of other leaders of European countries. Now what you need to know is this. Nobody liked or took poor Wilhelm serious. The only person he liked was Ferdinand and so they became close friends. Ferdinand became next in line to the Austria throne when the kings son died. However Ferdinand decided to marry a woman who the king did not approve of so he basically cut Ferdinand off. When he was assassinated the king didn't even give a shit. The person who was really upset was Wilhelm because ferdinand was his best friend. But even Wilhelm knew that starting a war would be disastrous. However wilhelms miltary leaders wanted any reason to go to war with France. Because they saw France as a threat (France supported Russia by giving them money to advance their economy and become a major world power. Russia wanted Serbia as a way to advance their trade to the mediterranean being as their only port is St. Petersburg which freezes over 6 months out of the year.) along with Russia. Since France and Russia were allies Germany felt surrounded and ultimately allied with Austria/Hungry. When Ferdinand was assassinated Wilhelms military advisors saw this as a chance for them to go to war with France. Look up who declared war on who and when.

But like i was saying Wilhelm and the rest of the European countries knew going to war was stupid as fuck. Because if one country declared war they would all get pulled in because of the alliances they all stupidly made. So Germany being the sneaky fucks they were told Austria to send a set of requests to Serbia that they had to fulfil for killing Ferdinand. However Germany and Austria both knew that Serbia would not be able to fulfil these requests which would give Austria a reason to declare war. Which would then force France to declare war on Germany which would allow Germany to declare war on France and Russia. Had it not been for Britains intervention France would have been crushed easily by Germany. Which was exactly what happened for a long time. They destroyed most of France, which is why the French were so pissed off and put all the blame on Germany.

The result of WWII was not at all what you said. WWII didnt fucking end because the U.S. and Russia had a stand off. Who the fuck told you that? The stand off happened AFTER THE WAR. When everyone decided what would happen to Germany. The U.S. knew russia would try and take control of the country and spread communism. Americans saw communism as a threat so they knew they had to make a stand. The war ended because the combination of U.S./British/French forces had surrounded berlin at the same time that Russian forces did and they were slowly forcing their way to the capital. The Nazi regime could do nothing but give up. The Russians would have taken over Germany for sure. However Britain and France would have started another war to prevent it from spreading any farther. Sure the smaller countries might have gotten gobbled up but the bigger ones would have fought too. It was not definite that communism would have spread all across europe. It was just feared that it would.

Finally there is no such fucking thing as a war ending in a draw you thick child. There is always a winner and a loser. There is no such thing as a draw in real life you fucking retard. Sure after everyone dug trenches and hunkered down no one did any major movements. However it became a war of attrition which the allied forces eventually won. Germany began having problems internally and way before that Austria/Hungry gave up. Germany knew they couldn't hold out on their own anymore so they surrendered as well. Why the fuck do you think the Paris Peace Conference was run by the U.S., France, Britain, and Italy? BECAUSE THEY FUCKING WON! If it was a tie then Germany and Austria would have been able to make demands of their own. Since they LOST they had to accept what punishment the allies dished out. WINNERS AND LOSERS.
