| Don't you mean xenophobia? Also xenophobia can be used on par with the word "racism" in certain contexts. This is one of them. #74 -
anon (08/30/2015) [-] Fuck niggers and Illegal immigrants. I'm actually married to a legal Mexican, so please, go ahead and call me xenophobic for wanting to enforce my countries laws. #109 -
anon (08/30/2015) [-] No. I'm saying that just because you would like illegal immigrants deported it doesn't mean that you are racist or xenophobic. #123 -
anon (08/30/2015) [-] having or showing a dislike of or prejudice against people from other countries. Im not talking about inmigration you stupid anon. But Donald Trump IS racist, he even insulted a politician because he has a mexican wife and she's a legal inmigrant. #83 -
anon (08/30/2015) [-] How the fuck is that an insult? People think that I hate Trump just because I'm married to a Mexican. He just said exactly how people react when they find out my wife is of Hispanic decent. Ok dude, you're married to a mexican. You don't find insulting if I said that you vouch for illegal mexicans because of you're wife? Its insuting towards your wife dude, ergo, you should be just as offended. #94 -
anon (08/30/2015) [-] I don't need people to tell me when to be offended. Most people expect me to vouch for illegal mexicans because of it and it's bullshit. My wife is also against illegal immigrants, so no, neither one of us are insulted. Just to be clear. I'm not criticizing you as a person, just your stupid ass opinion. "Most people expect me to vouch for illegal mexicans because of it and it's bullshit. My wife is also against illegal immigrants," And btw you just proved my point on why that tweet is insulting. Why would you or your wife vouch for illegals? Because of your ethnical diversity? Thats fucking racist to believe that you're wife can't feel american because shes ethnically mexican. My "stupid ass opinion" was to correct the other guy who said "he hates mexicans, hes not racist, just antinationalist" That comment is so wrong because: 1) he doesn't know what antinationalist means 2) he says he hates mexicans... but isn't racist? That can't be the same in the same sentence, even if Donald doesnt actually hate mexicans the word the guy was looking for is xenophobia. I think your participation in this conversation is totally retarded. You just jumped in defensively saying you're not xenophobic. Of course you're not you fucking retard you are married to a mexican woman, xenophobia is not specific towards illegal or legal inmigrants. No one was calling you anything. And yes, I think Donald Trump is racist. I believe most of his motives to attack inmigration as the effective solution to americas problems have to do with his sentiment towards foreigners. Is that so fucking far-fetched? #105 -
anon (08/30/2015) [-] Not far fetched at all. Don't think he's racist though. Mexico actually does send their shittiest people here. The Mexican government literally hands out brochures telling people telling them how to cross the border illegally. I personally think he would like to close the border and revitalize the American economy. You're right. My participation was retarded because of what you just pointed out. Just used to going on the defensive for wanting to get rid of shitty people I guess. I respect you for admitting that. Im sorry for calling you retarded I was getting hot headed as well. This has always been a controversial topic because really inmigrants dont' want to mess up anyones country, but they live in fucked up conditions and can't really help themselves, they want better lives. America has always pride itself on being a country where you could be nobody and make a life for yourself out of pure effort and work, and we can't really blame them for being captivated by that idea. The american dream. In Spain we are flooded with inmigrants coming from eastern europe or north africa. I once helped out a nigerian guy, paid a motel for him and gave him a warm meal. The dude told me they crossed the sahara dessert and their car broke down. Everone died except him who was rescued by a travelling car. Its sad to know they live in fucked up conditions, but we cant just let them be Spanish just because. But this guy was willing to die all for the small chance of being anywhere else but Nigeria. The only thing you can do is deport someone back to their country. But, I believe that if a person comes to a country to work he has the right to be nationalized american, because thats what USA was founded on. If he works and is legal then he can contribute with society and pay taxes. Its very hard for a poor mexican to become a citizen and only middle to high class mexicans have that possibility (but they dont really need it that much either). We blame illegals for sucking up resources but we dont give them the chance to contribute. Meanwhile there are plenty of citizens commiting tax fraud (maybe even Trump and friends? A bit bold statement but its possible) and essentially making americans lose way more millions than having a few mexicans that wouldnt have to pay that much taxes anyway because of their shitty salaries. #144 -
anon (08/30/2015) [-] I don't blame people for wanting to come here. I do however dislike people who come to the U.S. and vote for laws that resemble Mexico's laws. Out of my wife's family and all of her friends that are here illegally or are second generation Mexican Americans, almost non of them adopt the American culture and integrate. Not just them, but most all of the towns along the border that I've been to (mostly in Texas) have people that are the exact same way. Her mother has been in the country for over 26 years and has refused to learn english or become an actual American citizen. Most Mexicans that I meet are against gun laws too. How fucking crazy is that? A country run by fucking cartels because the people can't fight back are against the population being armed. My new extended family wouldn't even hunt to put food on the table, but yet they still ask for money for us to help them. I have a couple of family members that married Illegals so that they could stay here, and every single one had a fake social security card. It wasn't so that they could work. It was so that they could get benefits from the government. Just shitty unamerican people all the way around. People who are here legally at least seem to take pride in the fact that they are American. That is a respectable opinion. I also believe that people shouldn't impose their foreign way of life on others. But on the other hand the United States has no oficial language, so you can't make someone learn english. If they can't understand most of the population its their problem, but if they can get by just fine in the community they live in then I respect that. I also respect they bring their culture to USA because its enrichment, theres no harm in celebrating "5 de Mayo" or eating mexican food while still being a american. Imagine if you were an expat and people find it offensive that you celebrate thanksgiving despite it not hurting anyone. Im sorry but if they're against gun laws its in their right. As long as a majority has a consensus on something theres no reason to fear having your guns taken away, because I also believe in democracy. It not unamerican to be against guns, but I do understand though that Texas is an avid defender of gun use and understand your position perfectly. It does actually sound kind of ironic on their behalf. And people with fake social security cards should go fuck themselves if their plan was to be like that forever. As a temporary solution it might not be bad regarding what i discussed earlier on the hardships of a poor mexican to gain nationality. But if they like having fake benefits without paying a dime then I say they should go to hell. #162 -
anon (08/30/2015) [-] Just one thing to say about the gun portion. It is literally not their right to be against guns in this country. They aren't citizens and aren't American. I'm not worried about losing any guns, I just disagree with the fact that people who aren't Americans are influencing American politics in any way, shape, or form. The rest are just slightly differing opinions, so agree to disagree? Agreed to disagree, mate. Theres nothing wrong with exchanging ideas, thats what actual progress is about, regardless of the actual ideas being discussed. I didnt realize you were talking about illegals being against guns, i thought you meant the legals. Illegals shoudn't really participate in the regions politics. They're fortunate enough to be there in the first place. Although im in favour of gun control, I also believe guns to be very cool and understand why you guys have such a strong gun culture and I respect (my uncle lives in Florida and he's such a gun freak, but they seem so awesome). I just hate the idea of idiots and wackos handling them and Im willing to sacrifice such a cool thing in favour of idiots not killing each other. But that really is another conversation and another following shitstorm hehe. #108 -
anon (08/30/2015) [-] Link me up to a brochure which actually tells them how to travel the dessert safely because in case you didn't know it's pretty fucking hard to cross the dessert and not die. Or piss off and stop talking shit out of your ass I just looked into and thats not a brochure teaching them how to illegally get somewhere. "Los grupos beta" is apparently a group that wants to dissuade people from crossing the desert, but since most people will do it anyway this brochure is more like "here, atleast try not to die please, the dessert is very dangerous". They put boxes of water all over the dessert and they do their best to locate people and rescue them using all kinds of equipment and bring them back. last page: "This consular protection guide is not promoting the crossing [of the border] of Mexicans without legal documentation required by the government of the United States; its objective is to make known the risks implied and to inform about the rights of migrants regardless of their legal residence." People who try to cross the border do not know the dangers of crossing. The brochure is made purely to minimize the lost of lives and to inform people of their basic human rights. Its not justifying illegal inmigration. It literally says things like "dont resist the police and give them your real name. Its safer to be deported than to run away through the desert" The people who migrate are so uneducated they dont know they have basic rights. As I said its a brochure so people who made up their minds dont kill themselves. #164 -
anon (08/30/2015) [-] I understand why you think that, but I disagree. I would explain more but it's very late here, and I have to go to sleep. I'm in Japan and it's 3am here. And yes I realized I wrote "your" wrong the first time. In case you have no arguments and decide to nitpick on that. | ||
