Dont you judge my bad ideas brah.  Get better DMs if they dont allow stupid stuff. A good DM will allow me to shoot my dwarf buddy out a cannon, but will make us roll so we dont fuck him over. But no DM can stop you from being a race you can normally choose and being any class, unless they are a really shitty DM in which case leave the table. They are at all times treated as like a lvl 8 caster or something just from existing. Hence why they are like a +12 lvl adjustment or some shit.
