Other puddles on the ground, chair behind him also has blood on it. Blood is nearly black indicating it's old but not yet dry.

Plus in a situation like this, if he was among allies they'd have him on his back legs elevated and be applying tourniquets.

Sitting up like that gravity would force the blood to flow freely out his legs and he would bleed out in minutes.

You're seeing a picture of someone who was probably captured by terrorists had his legs cut off, bled to death, then positioned manually for a funny picture.

There are a few things wrong with your statement. If in fact his limbs were removed and his vessels completely severed, they retract into the body and form crude homeostasis which prevents "the blood to flow freely out of his legs" In fact full amputations do nothing but ooze slowly. And blood doesn't turn black when it gets older... If anything I would agree that these are all cosmetics.
