ace combat assault horizon and need for speed the run flopped. i never mentioned call of duty which still has its core mechanics unchanged it just has a different game mode. your calling me stupid when your not even reading my comment fully. i said adding things and changing things is fine. just leave the core alone. i also used the term if it ait broke dont fix it. when grand theft auto moved to the more powerful console its core mechanic became broke. there are already up to six pokemon per battle so your a little late on that bucko. you could not have a core pokeomon game in real time. battles would take forever since its a one on one or three on three game. the reason games that are real time work is because they have massive amounts of enemys all the time. i go back to ragon quest. when they took aay random battles leveling became a lot harder because i had to go hunt down enemys some of which would jus run away. pokemon has been evolving. new pokemon new moves new story new locations more pokemon per battle the addition of EVs. the game has evolved and kept what works for it. simple easy to pick up and play game for new gamers and a challanging test of intilect and strategy for the more experienced. if you want a pocket monster hack and slash then go make one. just dont be surprised when it doesnt sell
